So a month on from my last video.
In june I had a shunt malfunction which resulted in me going shunt free and having a craniotomy with a fenestration of my arachnoid cyst.
Unfortunately, this procedure was suppose to leave me shuntless for good, but after just 3 weeks, the pathways that were made failed, resulting in high pressure again, needing the shunt to be put back in.

This video was made a month after my most recent operation :)

  • I just turned 20 a few days ago, I also have hydrocephalus. The shunt that was put in me was done when I was 7 days old. Now 20 years later I still have the original shunt from '91, The doctors are extremely amazed that I haven't had a single flaw with the original one.

  • Hey my name is george and i am 16. Last year i had eight brain surgeries and the last two were on my birthday. The unique thing is i am an identical twin and my twin brother does not and was not born with this condition. From all my experiences i have learned how to deal with life and Im very happy I am doing better. Thank you for posting this video it helped. i also have Dandy walker syndrome and barely a little autism but you would not be able to tell if you saw me face to face. Thank you.

  • Well done & congratulations on your mature outlook towards this problem. My wife is,right now, in Helsinki hospital being treated for the very same problem, following a cerebral aneurysim during our recent cruise around the Baltic. She had endoscopic surgery today to create a drainage hole in the ventricle of the brain to release the fluid.

I love the way you take to task, the mindless morons who comment on other people's suffering. Stay positive & go get em girl.

    Good luck,
