  • can you imagine how good a hollywood movie about owain glyndwr would be, the last prince of wales. it would be a massive hit just like braveheart and gladiator only better!

  • yes I definately agree... thats the crap that got me started enjoying the medieval stuff. BUT what does it start making us become?? There are PLENTY of people who vent the glorious anti-english spew but behind 'closed doors' profit and benefit from them.

Dont forget, as we are brainwashed to hate all England, the English are brainwashed to hate us too. I have seen first hand how anti-english middle class Welsh prosper from England.... BUT DONT WANT YOU TO DO IT

  • YEAH make a movie 18+ like braveheart but with better graphics and more english dead.

  • It would be total mince. Full of numpties.

  • I believe that Glyndŵr’s illegal and obnoxious rebellion failed to sack Caernarfon and murder its innocent inhabitants.

  • @filthmonger171 try googling 'saysomethinginwelsh' it's a free audio course!

  • casâ Lloegr a 'na 'n frenhinol deulu wedi gormesu 'r Cymraeg achos ar 'n saith cant blynedd 'r bara 'n ddiau bendefig chan gwrymiau was owain glyndwr a 'n ddiau arwr ddyhea buchedda gwrymiau a 'n 'n gysegredig dafodiaith

  • It wasn't until the Normans invaded in 1066 that the Welsh lost their independence.A draconium Feudal system was introduced were greedy dukes sliced up large swaves of land for their gain -including Wales.Lost was the class of the 'free peasant' enjoyed under Saxon and Welsh rule.

  • The alliance of both Royal households of Penda and Cadwaldr went even further with Pendas sister marrying Cadwaldr and Penda marrying with Gwynned royalty!!!

  • the English and Celts were not always opposed as some modern day historians suggest! In the 7th century Heathen King Penda of Mercia allied with King Cadwaldr of Gwynedd. They were uniting their armies to defeat Saxon Oswald of Northumbria-Oswald ,a devout Roman christian was under guidence of the Pope to destroy indepedent Celtic Christianity and the Pagan beliefs of the Mercians.

  • god, i wish i spoke welsh. Long live the rightful prince of wales and death to the anglo saxon/norman oppressors
