Also, can someone please tell me the name of the piece he plays when they get to the shack (not the wedding theme). I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. On BBC iPlayer, he plays it at 38:35 mins.

Just happened to catch Dangerous Moonlight on BBC2 the other day, it's such a beautiful heartbreaking film.

I am fortunate own the entire video of this movie. I had to buy a used copy. It is probably out of print. The music is beautiful. I searched a long for this movie just because I was curious about it.
A very private and personal celebration of this wonderful musical piece. The link between moonlinght and the inherent danger for the British (?) paratroopers is very moving. Thanks for sharing! (P.S. ... although we were on the "other side"...LOL - War is a terrible thing, isn't it?) -- Yes, LEST WE FORGET !!!

I keep returning to your comment about sides.
