These are very nice tutorials, and it's very much appreciated :) But, I was just wondering if it's possible to take still photos WHILE recording video on the 500D?

Hi man, I like your information that you provide us with. I have a couple questions may be you can advice me on it. Do I have to do the WB each time before shooting for a different pictures? and what about if I am shooting a natural or zooming from a far distance? and some times I am shooting 20 pictures per a minute? so When and Where I should use the WB? and what about the VIDEO? as I know there is a WB for the video as well, do we need to do the WB for the videos?
Thanks in advance

How you set white balance for night shots or sunsets???. If you take a night shot you have to set all your other setting correctly before you take the shot so the white card can look different depending on your settings. That said to take a picture of a white card at night on the subject is going to show up very bright in comparison to everything else knowing you have to use a flash to see the white card from your shot; otherwise, from the viewfinder your white card wont show up without a flash

Thank you so much for taking your time to make these video's. I'm new to DSLR, always wanted one, and finally got one for Christmas much to my surprise.
My pictures are improving with every tutorial video I've watched of yours, so again, a BIG thankyou.
Is there's a Video 21 yet? Can't seem to find it. Need to tuition lol!!

Great video once again! Santa is getting me a T1i for Christmas, so I've been watching all of your videos to prepare myself (along with much online research). I appreciate the time you take to educate people, and I look forward to more! Keep up the wonderful work.

Good video. What ever happened to the microphone you had? I cannot hear you very well. It might be something to look into. I have the same problem. I have to speak loudly when recording without a mic. Anyway good video man!

@nate42nd Thanks nate, 3 differnt microphones wer used in this video, one in the Sony H50, 500D and then the Blue Yeti (used for podcast) used for voice over on images at end. Audio levels were fine, its the diffference in audio quality of the mics you can hear. Will be solved at some point, well when i can a 60D and or 7D and external mic. Look forward to your future videos. Rick
