Way back in the day--lets say 2006-7-- I summarized and captured this specific combination of single stick flow drills with a cooperative filipino willing to learn and promote his native indigenous art at Amerasian Defensive Arts, Arnis, Aikido, kickboxing, stickboxing, etc. There are at least to middle range drill/patterns and one long one here frow Modern Arnis where I learned them or at last 2/3. Sabayan is and was speial to me because I was learning it then and am not totally sure where it came from but it fit in well to break the oher patterns, yet it could be taugt and replicated for line familiarzation and reptitions defending ad using the butt end of the weapon so that you might give an attacker "the short end of the stick." HuBud translates to something like to tie and untie where as sabayan is the concept of simultaneous; to attack or counter at the same time.
At 5 40 into this I get to the sabayan part I wanted to capture beyond all the angles of attack and range changes.
