One of the new commercials from Cadillac's new advertising agency, Modernista!, who has previously created many of the HUMMER brand's commercial spots. This one highlights the uniqueness of the handcrafted GMPD V-Series engines (here, XLR's 4.4l supercharged Northstar) and also Cadillac's new tagline, 'Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit'

Just see the cadillacs in the 50s or 60s and you'll go "Oh, they had that since then"?

  • @UFCextra

Always thought nothing can beat that comfort, till i got into a USED, BEATEN UP, Lincoln Town car that was A CAB, okay? A CAB at 3 am, that gets drunks home, those who spill beer in the car and play with the knobs and electric seats till they get home and vomit, the old big old boat rides than that merc crap (compared). Also about technology, things that appear in a cadillac or lincoln, are what define later what's standard in a luxry car.

  • @UFCextra

My dad ALWAYS bought mercs, ok? Not used, new mercs. So i understand if you buy one used car, you can't really judge because you never know. Also if you buy a new one, you may not judge upon that because who knows, you could be the unlucky one who gets the car that falls under the slight error percentage of the mass production, BUT A NEW MERC every 2 years, i think it's safe that i compare it. I've always thought the mercedes was top luxury.

  • I own a 2007 STS and couldn't be happier....this car is my 15th car. I use to want a Mercedes-Benz or a BMW before I bought this Cadillac. I love everything about this car....the 15 speaker 5.1 Bose system, the gps, dvd, the DIC pop up display, xeon headlights, heated/cool seats. My is diamond white with ebony interior. I named the Caddy Evelyn after my grandmother who only drove Cadillacs her whole life.....I traded in my Altima 2.5 SL for the STS.

  • @garoiscool -- Cadillac doesn't have to 'claim' its the best luxury car -- I'm sure if you will pickup a MotorTrend, or just look around the web.. we're holding our own..

    Owner: 2006 Stealth Gray - STS-V; 2008 Escalade EXT -- Parents: 2005 STS - 2008 Escalade SUV

And when call a Draxelmeier Designed Interior Crap -- you might as well lump all that Audi useless OVERSEAS technology in there..

I'm an American -- I will support AMERICA!

  • I don't really agree with that statement. What is it about a Cadillac that you think makes it the best luxury car on the market? This is what I do not understand at all. And, if I wanted luxury, I'd probably buy a Mercedes-Benz over a Cadillac. More prestige, more technology, and more comfort.

  • @garoiscool Cadillac started in 1902, Chevy started several years later, GM was formed after that...Cadillac isn't really GM, it's just owned by them for now. Cadillac's on another level than anything else in terms of what a luxury car should be and they always have been the greatest luxury cars ever made, hands down.

I didn't mean to make you mad by telling you the truth about how Audi is better than Cadillac. Don't go claiming they're Jetta's and Subaru's as well because in case you didn't notice, Caddy's originally start out in life as Chevrolet's and Buicks.

ZR1 sucks. It's plastic and gross. I'll take an Audi any day over that crap. I deserve to be seen in something better than a fucking Corvette.
