The Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) has deemed the upcoming live action movie "Charlotte's Web" as "violent animal rights propaganda". Is this correct? You be the judge.

  • CfCF reminds me of the "wise use" movement, only with far far less grassroots support. The CFCF is merely a front group. THey're useful in a way, in that they're so bad. But they do a lot of damage by taking things so far out of context. Rick Bergman has no conscience.

  • I totally forgot about Ron Arnold and the "wise use" movement of the 1980's ... very good observation SardonicusRexx

  • Yes, the CCF regularly try to turn the public against amazing groups such as PETA, Greenpeace, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

They're either horribly misinformed, or just stupid. Maybe both.

  • The CCF is the same group that tells lies about People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). They're money-driven liars. They'll lie about anything for a buck.

  • For goodness sake, it's one of the most beloved children's books of all time. What's wrong with those people?
