in the comic, he is sent through a black hole which saps most of his strength (hence why the red king could cut him) and since he's usually so overcharged with power that makes him a bumbling idiot. here, since he's no longer overcharged, he's allowed to actually think (he does have the brains of bruce banner after all). i assume it's the same way in this movie.

I watched this entire movie on YouTube a couple of days ago. Just type "Planet Hulk - Part 1(HD)" in the YouTube search bar. It's a great movie. A little predictable (we all know who wins in the end) but it has a couple of nice plot twists.

@skulljoint I liked that one, and I haven't seen this but I read the comic book. It's fantastic.

yo whos the blue guy in back of the red king

Personally I think that any villain or hero that uses just a suit which gives them their strength is kind of BS. I do have some exceptions like Iron Man but the Red King is probably nothing without that mech.

@newsmith Something about they couldn't get the rights to use him in the movie, so they had to change it.

@ThomasVonThalberg At the start of the movie, the aliens place a crontrol disc on the Hulk, that also include 'talkbots', some sort of nano-tech translation system. It lets Hulk articulate in more than grunts. Hulk was always smart (the brain of banner) under the fury, but now the talkbots let that smarts out somewhat.
Hulk vs wolverine is my favorite hulk movie, will i like this?

@skulljoint Imagine "gladiator" but with the hulk instead of maximus. Essentially, yes.
