@MsArethaforever Both of them are equally good, and to say one is superior is unpractical. Clearly Patti has shown to have the better Technique because of her ability to sustain notes in the upper register with ease. Aretha has shown more musicianship, but it doesn't mean they both don't ave both things, it means they have not shown it yet.

@Chimier Chaka is the only contralto in this group. Who ever is your favorite singer here it's ok, but please let's give Chaka her prop. Patti might have a higher belt and Aretha may be the queen of soul, but Chaka is the better and most versatile singer of the bunch. Ledisi would agree.

You couldnt possibly find a Patti B5? She hits it on many occasions lots of them on videos on YouTube. Im Sure has belted C6 with a D6 Head voice...Do some more research buddy...

@Unkown0801 Trust me I've done my research buddy! These are Patti's best belts! She has a B5 in my other video, but its not fully sung out, and no she has not belted C6 live. And once again this is a 5th OCTAVE belting battle!
