It's not just black people anymore, look at all those ganster gangster white guys out there that some how think they are black? One day they sound normal next day it's all slang. People are picking it up left and right. It about time some one adressed this issue!!!!!! GOOD WORK!!

i remember when your parents & older people would correct you when you said lookded,likeded,seent and axed. but then again that was in the 80s when we still had the village raising the children concept somewhat. now if you correct someones kid the parent would curse you out after the kid cursed you out. slang spoken at home is to be expected but turn it off like a light switch when you get into the real world because i havent seen any successfull t.v newscasters saying seent,lookded or likeded.

I do agree that a person's speech is part of their culture, but a person speaking like that does not sound educated. Learning acceptable English starts as a child, and a lot of parents are dropping the ball. It is perfectly acceptable when someone has a different accent, but not when a person totally messes up the grammar of English.

Bravo! Glad they included examples of white people using double negatives!!!! I hear white people speaking incorrectly ALL THE TIME! When I was growing up there was so little time spent on grammar in school. When I moved to France, it was crazy - if you speak with poor grammar, even strangers will correct you, and they mean it to be nice. Language is such a powerful tool - we all need to respect it and learn how to use it well.

@andruchina Yes, I would if they would have more educational programs instead of idiotic, useless shows brainwashing them. I came from Europe where TV was educational not only entertaining. I was shocked how stupifying american and canadian TV can be.I feel sorry for the kids. They are being purposefully stupified! Do educate yourself. Libraries are free of charge. Do not count on the GOV. Their objective is to make us docile, stupid so we do not ask for our rights.
