FUCK. Every time I think I'm going to finish this episode, the Dalek Emperor has his "The Dalek race died in your inferno. But my ship survived. Falling through time, crippled, but alive." line, and I have to go back and replay that fucking scene about 30 times because the intonation is absolutely perfectly evil.

@Zimplony im guessing so, as they say "evil of the daleks" is the last dalek story chronologically before the time war as the dalek emperor is seen surviving the events of that story i guess his next move was to invade gallifrey

@ZKoftherebellion Not really...it made them even more terrifying.

It was great to see the Dalek Emperor again after all these years, although I wish they'd used his original design from the Dalek comics (a golden casing with a large spheroid head section and three globes on each panel), because that version of the Emperor could actually move.

The Dalek Emperor was badass and terrifying when it started acting up its delusions of Godhood. Also remembering how hardcore Nine was :D

3:00. I've always believed this to be one of the most EPIC moments in -all- Doctor Who history, new series' or old. And the Emperor was going to win, as well. Rose becomes Deus Ex Machina; basically through the will of the TARDIS, but still. Davros wanted to destroy reality, but the Dalek Emperor literally wanted to conquer the universe, the old fashioned way; and the Doctor took the notion dead seriously.

the whole dalek religion was stupid, but the emperor was badass in this.
It was by far the best ending of the Davies era.
