How do our experiences influence our identities? Six immigrants — two from Nepal, two from the Philippines and one couple from both Nepal and the Philippines — explore this principle theme by delving into their own immigration stories. They reflect on lives left behind, share motivations for resettling and recognize the benefits Canada offers its citizens. They share a great appreciation for their new country and consider how the lives of future generations will improve because of their struggles. No matter where they come from, no matter where they go, their true identities will always stay with them.
