John McCain on Medical Marijuana Raids

Senator McCain made a statement in one of his vids about the ama feeling there is better alternatives. They want better indipendant research on this. We need to educate although I do not think he is really open to this. In a number of the vids he stated I dont believe and I never will. Whats up with that. I thought they were open to change? I thought they did our bidding? We the people type of a thing? Please Senetor, Look at the out of country studies. You will be enlightened.

I don't disagree with you! However, I would like some more information on what information supports the concept that Marijuana is competition to the liquor industry... I agree that it is competition for pharmaceuticals because Marijuana is a medicine... but how is it competition to liquor industry... I'm just curious. Thanks.

Think about it. Liquor is a recreational drug thats legal and you have to pay for it. Marijuana is a recreational drug thats illegal and you dont have to pay for it if you grow it in your yard. Now! do the liquor companies want you to have an alternative thats free and safer? Not if its taking away from their profits they dont! The liquor companies are the biggest promoters of the anti-drug campains, donating tons of money to keep pot illegal! Hope that answers your question.

I'm sure that many people would choose cannabis over alcohol if it was legal.
And that is a GOOD thing!
I'm a retired paramedic (and substance abuse counsellor)
and I have NEVER had to take a woman or child to the Emergency Ward because some guy smoked a couple of joints and beat the shit out of them.
Nor is marijuana addictive, doesn't cause liver disease,
doesn't harden your arteries, etc, etc.
Marijuana PROHIBITION, on the other hand,
destroys careers, lives, families....
