@leathlan If Capcom are having trouble with relations with Sony then it's in their best interest to roll with Nintendo. We got Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii, so going with Nintendo may mean that we get Monster Hunter 3G in the west. Also it's nothing to do with budget, the 3DS is a successful system while the PSP is slowly dying and the PS Vita is off to a rocky start. It's a safe bet for Capcom to go with Nintendo for now.

@leathlan Plus, with what Benster247 said, Monster Hunter Tri has the highest overall rating of all the Monster Hunter games. And it's sold more copies than most of the other MH games. Mainly due to the fact that more people own a Wii and a 3DS than a Sony gaming system.
