Am I on drugs?

it's kinda creepy, do people with synesthesia get scared of what they hear/feel sometimes?
-
this is SO interesting. i was just diagnosed with color synesthesia, and i never imagined that the letters could be correlated with sounds! so cool!
-
the letter p was very funny, a lot of them sounded scary though :(

@AmaQueenOfDublin It's not an extra sense...it's a triggering of 2 senses at the same time. Sight combined with color or smell or sound. There are tons of variations. The brain has strange connections. It is a gift for some people. Mozart, Liszt and Rimsky-Korsakov all saw notes in color. How helpful!!

@zulok1337 I see the color in minds eye is what I'd describe it as. By the way I meant to type I WOULDN'T call it confusion in my original comment. Maybe I'd say jumbling, but not confusion.
-
@taimao2 so when You read a book even though the text is all black do you actually SEE the words and letters as different colors or do you Imagine them as the colors that you perceive them to be?
-
meant to say that I **wouldn't call it confusion...
-
I would call it confusion maybe jumbling. However, It makes me unconfortable when I watch the video and see letters colors that don't match with the ones I associate with them.
I love your film, but synaesthesia isn't a disorder. Its an extra sense.

disorder /dis·or·der/ (dis-or´der) n. 1. A lack of order or regular arrangement; confusion.
synaesthesia [sin‐ĕs‐thee‐ziă] 1. A blending or confusion of different kinds of sense‐impression, in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another.

Hi AmaQueenOfDublin
It is not an extra sense, and I use the word 'disorder' in its most neutral sense, in that the regular arrangement of the senses is not present. I'm addressing everyone who has been upset by this when I ask that perhaps you could all look up the definition of words before getting uber politically correct about it. Cheers for watching everyone :)
