Bhopalis released from Tihar, Continue Hunger Strike

On June 09, 2008 Bhopali men, women and children were arrested after a peaceful protest outside the PM's office. Activists outside relentlessly bought for bail that was repeatedly denied. After nearly two weeks in lock-up, having been abused by the police and regularly beaten for demanding just their rights, they were finally given bail. This video captures some of the celebrations on release, as they are brought back to the welcoming arms of friends and families.
