Could this be used as a frequency filter? What I mean is: taking all the low end away from a bass and adding extra high end, so the bass can safely be run through a guitar amp

Can you use this pedal as just as a EQ? Im looking for a pedal that can just take out the highs and lows. I play mostly punk rock.

This box is good for trying to emulate single coils with a hambucker pickups guitar, that´s the main feature of this pedal. It can kind of boost your signal though but this is not a regular EQ nor compressor pedal.
This pedal can also fix quite well a bad cheap guitar sound through an amp, works well on your "home guitar". I like it for its price.
