She had a sugar daddy 40 years her senior supporting her with huge cash gifts that she did not declare to parliament. He had alzheimer's, and his children have accused her of taking advantage of him. Of course that doesn't mean she hasn't worked hard, but it's a pretty heavy allegation. Hopefully it's not true; too sad to think someone is that evil.

@6591davidb We have had many effective politicians who have treated opposition politicians with civility & dignity - Sophie Mirabella is not one of them and has usually performed like a belligerent, obnoxious child. Politics would be better off without people of her standards
