Really basic, just an internal twist with dicro on both sides. I backed it with a red and this particular colored dicro didnt show up as well as I thought it would, oh well.

  • I back the side with dicro...the clear side out. Otherwise when I work the dicro it would get burnt out.

  • I use a diamond disc on my dremel it cuts it up real nice. I use the dremel to cut up bigger rods too. I dont really need anything bigger than a midrange to bust out pendants. I have a bigger torch but when I use it my pendants turn out a little too big.

  • This is boro glass, right? Doesn't look like soft glass, which is what I work with. It's funny that none of these lampwork videos seems to state the type of glass at the outset.

  • I should start messin with dicro.

  • I don't know if I missed this part, but which side of the dicro is your backing on? The dicro side? Thanks

  • what kind disc are you using to cut your strips?good to see someone else bustin on a nortel....
