My Coturnix from the first hatch are almost fully developed at 5 1/2 weeks of age. I hear a lot of crowing out there in the shed. They are aclimatizing to the cold fairly well, as you can see I have two lights on them out there. They mostly hang out in the covey and keep warm by eating, hopping crowing, and picking at each other's feathers. Soon I know, I will have to remove the males as they will fight to the death. Hard to belive such tiny cute birds can be so bloodthirsty....

    eggs to birds, it was in a similar way to this Bovine spongiform encephalopathy disease appeared. 

  • @molinobeer lol apparently you don't know that avians are not bovines. All birds eat eggs. Usually raw, too.
