@MissBethanyyx A hooked band holds the hair tightly, and for a long time. A regular hair tie will slowly slip off the hair. You can make your own hooked band by putting 2 bobbypins around the elastic and sort of anchoring it in the hair. It's hard to explain :p I'm sure if you searched for it on youtube you'd find a video explaining it.
