This has to be my favorite scene in "Good Will Hunting". It really speaks to me and shows just what best friends really think of each other.

Nice piece of devil's advocacy there. Since Will is a smart guy though, don't you think he would realize straight away if his friend was just hoping to profit from his success? So I think the cynical point of view falls down straight away.

This is the best scene in the history of movie making. It is so real and honest. Even though Will is the genius, Chuckie's genius is revealed by his recognition of his best friend's gift and need for a better life. Chuckie is completly unselfisness towards Will. Such honesty is rare or very difficult to articulate.
