I have never made stromboli before but have made many pizza including the crust. Your recipe gave me an idea of combining a blanca sauce pizza and meat pizza into a stromboli. I use Philly cream cheese, fresh parm,garlic powder,onion powder, a little red pepper flake and s&p to make the blanca. Spread on dough and add the same meats/veggies. Too bad I already have chicken for tonight...will try this during the weekend.

usually i like to make my own dough but i do not always have the time (or inclination, lol) to do so.

my man adores stromboli... i am glad he is not watching this... i do not want him knowing how easy it is to make. i am like a hero when i make this, hee hee

after 14 years he just learned that his favorite thing i make (tuna casserole) is the easiest thing in the world to make, darn ;)

@robinstl70 Yes, the store bought dough I bought, was in our Bakery department,not frozen...........but you could use the dough in the tube.I haven't tried the frozen dough. Thanks again for watching!

When you say 'store bought' dough do you mean something in a tube or the frozen bread logs that have been thawed out?
