The government does own 55% of GM, and most of AIG and the banks. If these companies pay back any of the money they owe, it goes back to the general fund, not to the taxpayer's funds. There is no plan for the government to give up this ownership.

@mauriedee: You're wrong about AIG. The Fed gave AIG the bailout money and AIG issued almost 80% of it's stock to the Fed. That's a private bank - not part of the government. Wall St. and it's corrupt conspirators continue to spread that false info to fan the flames of ignorance and hatred. They are taking advantage of anti-democracy feelings among stupid people so they can take complete control over the government.GOD help us if that ever happens. More jobs sent overseas, no social programs....

Why is the video cut to not show any of his responses? Every time he is about to speak it cuts to the next person who yells at him over the furor of others clapping. Do you not want people to hear his answer and decide for themselves, or to only have the biased impression that your editing provides? Every time the video cuts away there are portions of the video that are not being shown. If you truly believe that your point of view is correct then you should have no problem posting the full clip.
