@cruiseship360 consider yourself lucky. I went when I was 19. I'm 23 now... that place even though i've only been there once is like my home... in the sense of home is where the heart is. They have a few restaurants, the beach is literally a minute walk from the resort and to boot they have a night club. Best vacation i ever went on. everyone was friendly... I can't wait to go back lol

This is by far the worst hotel I stayed at in Varadero, my room had rats in it and they wouldnt change our room nor do anything to help..
No wonder they have so many cats walking around in the hotel.....

Stayed there March 2010 with my girlfriend and loved it! I would totally recomend it to anyone else... just make sure they don't put you in a bungalow or you'll be doing a lot more walking than is necessary.

My experience here was a pleasant one except for the food wasnt all that great the only consistant thing was rice and omeletes which are fine but then if you like spices bring your own! One thing is to remember this is a third world country you are going to and yes theres not the same food like back home. At the bar was good but some of the drinks were way to strong, the best drink was a Don Peppe or the pina colada's.
