People who don't know why Cubs fans love Harry, you didn't watch the games where the Cubs were down 8 runs, and resigned to losing and here is Harry rambling on and on. It was so funny! !But he was a fairly honest man.
I'd take Harry Caray over any announcer who ever lived. He was simply the coolest.

-- Great memories from my childhood. Man, that guy could call a game better than anybody (inaccuracies and inattention to key details be damned). He was the greatest. Just can't watch the cubbies anymore without Harry calling the game. It was like sitting next to an extremely knowledgeable, though half tanked Uncle, who was paying (some) attention to the game but paying full attention to having fun. What a personality... sorely missed =(
