As Mayhem said he was jumped (by at least three people after being pushed by Jake). To blame Mayhem doesn't make sense.

@ChuckIaguinho there was no exaggeration from mayhems side at all, all mayhem did was call jake out ! it not wrong to do these things , it gets the blood pumping and make the fights even more exciting and what does cesar gracie have to do with the way jakes guys were acting ?! is it just because they are from that camp? if anything it brings disgrace to the gracie family to have guys act like this especially black belts and professional MMA guys who always say" keep it in the ring"IBLAMEJAKE!

There was exaggeration from both sides. You don't try to steal attention from a champion jumping out from nowhere asking about a rematch, specially talking about a Cesar Gracie fighter guy... In the same time, you don't kick a dude's ass just because of it, so I blame both of them for overreacting.

It seems to me Mayhem needs to learn the ways of true warriors with virtues such as rectitude. He had no business at that time, except disrespecting a fellow fighter after a great win and dishonoring himself for the sake of an audience. That's what one does when being a great warrior is not foremost in thought, only wealth and sensationalism.

@Mikex0123 Mayhem was talking sht on sheilds before that fight, and you see when you talk sht you need to expect the proper reaction from who you are talking sht on. For isntance if you were to talk sht on GSP he would just handle it in octagon, but diaz brothers handle their sht whenever they want. I am saying don't hate on mayhem or diaz brother for this. It is jsut how things happen.

@SuperTriviumFan you make a good point but Sheilds could have also been a little more gracious in victory, there was no need to get physical with a guy he'd just gone 5 5minute rounds fighting... seems like an over reaction (at least to me as he got the win)
