Ok, so in the last chapter, Kevin met Hayden, a long-lost friend from elementary school. At the Jonas home:

Kevin: *bursts through the door* hey guys!
Joe:What took you so long?
Kevin: You'll never guess who I ran into at starbucks!
Nick: Who?
Kevin: Hayden.
Joe: You mean Hayden, Hayden, the one you had a crush on, Hayden?
Kevin: Yeah, and I invited her to go hiking with us in the Ozarks tomorrow.
Joe: Cool, you're probobly gonna LOVE that 5-hour drive with her.
Nick: Yeah, THATS gonna be fun.
Kevin: Yep...*rocks back and forth on his heels* Meanwhile at Hayden's house:




Hayden is talking to her friend on AIM (Aol Instant Messaging)

Hayden_xoxox: wats up?

Hayden_xoxox:U kno how my school closed in 5th gradee & then i came to ur school?

Hayden_xoxox: well...remember that boy who was liek my BEST friend b4 my school closed?
