Pink ostrich Halloween costume, 1985 - Part 1 - The Demonstration

I'd been out of college and working at IBM for 6 months. This concept came to mind after seeing outfits like it at Disneyland. So I wired it up and plastered newspaper, etc. A bit difficult getting it to work in my little VolksWagen. A bit scary walking into dress-clothes IBM (which was getting closer to becoming comfortable with dress down Fridays) with jeans--and, oh yeah, a big pink thing. But, hey, even the suited folks enjoy fun, so I got escorted to this department and that department to run or walk through with that outfit.
