(Imagine 1986)
Take on the might of the enemy's forces to rescue the captives in this Cold War platformer. Run, jump and shoot your way past their troops to reach your goal. Any collisions means instant death so it turns out to be quite a job - especially when some of your opponents are armed with guns while you are only armed with your trusty combat knife. Luckily, if you manage to bump off a passing handyman you can pick up new weapon, albeit with limited ammunition, such as a flamethrower or a bazooka, which prove to be considerably useful in a sticky situation. A nice looking game with limited sound. Level 1 and 2, Enjoy !

  • Or more precisely, the "gun" death effect was used on EVERYONE, no matter how they died.

  • Looks like there have been several CPC versions: I remember mine had a different death effect for enemies (and probably for the main character too), not unlike X-ray electrocution.

  • I'd rather play with my balls.

  • What a shame the CPC got such a shit conversion. The Speccy and C64 versions were superb.

  • to just imagine i played this piece of crap back then for endless hours :(

  • i finished this games when i was 10 years old, and was happy to manage it.

I am quite sure i would not be able now.

The helico boss was tricky cause if you ruan out of missiles and no soldierto get any,you were trapped in and had to loose life.

Unlike you i prefered to evolve on roofs,so as to avoid enemies.

  • @azshaw123 yes but sadly C-64 version plays like shit... Spectrum version is the best (Joffa Smith you know...)

  • C64 version destroyed this...Whats with the music and scrolling aswell as the colours......Just awfull...What a pity as the cpc464 is a very good machine...Damn shame!

  • jeez, wish I'd been able to play like this, some obvious clever tatics going on

  • Nice scrolling. :/
