  • Now it's time to drink my own piss!

  • @AshtreTokes Bear Grylls will eat grubs and drink water from elephant dung for show, then eat at gourmet restaurants when the filming is done for that day. That kinda makes him an attention whore.

Les? "I caught a turtle with very little effort using only sticks and fishing string, then I'll spear a snake for lunch, and eat some lizards I catch along the way. I already have a nice tea ready from plants found around my campsite."

Les Stroud lives in luxury no matter what the situation.

  • @MediPup With a Kukri you have more power in the swing because the blade hits when your swing is at its most efficient point thanks to the forward canted blade. The exact opposite would happen with the Parang.

Not saying the Parang is the worst thing ever, I just think the Kukri would be better for chopping tasks.

  • @SavageArms357 No, a kukri is more novel. You have no mind for efficiency.

  • Does it break human bone and cut through flesh?

  • what season did he start using the gerber stuff. I remeber him having like 200 dollar knifes on older seasons

  • the kukri, Parang are great knives but it's not even come close to Japnese Nata.

This bear Gryles Parang is a worst in my opinion though...

  • @StephaunBaker No he didn't

  • @lasershow215 A knife is useless if you can't use it well. So personal preference is definitely the ruling factor.

    Thanks for the input! :D

  • @SavageArms357 I prefer the parang just because it feels more like an "extension of the arm" to me. I can chop like crazy with this thing lol. I also like the grip better than the one on my cold steel kukri. Just my two cents.

  • @lasershow215 I've never had either. I'd be interested in what you think of the Parang over a Kukri. It does seem like a Kukri is more of a situational tool.

  • He put the sheath on backwards. LOL !!!!
