that was a normal game card, you need a loot card to get the in game item.

I have a couple regular and a couple loot cards, so its no fluke, or production fault.

Yes it is. There are Path of Cenarius and there are Path of Cenarius Loot cards.

I think there are two sets of the card out there. Some don't have the code on them. I've seen codeless ones elsewhere.
