A short video showing off the fuctionality of
- QR2Droid: A bookmarklet that creates a QR Code popup of the a browsers current window so users can open it using a barcode scanner on their phone (such as Zxing).
- Any Browser 2 Android: A bookmarkelet that implements the same functionality as chrometophone, but works with any browser. The chrometophone apk is required on the Android device.
Find both bookmarkets at my blog http://my.opera.com/paddy2k
Update: Now with Firefox extension too. Check blog for more details.
@MartijnGP you make these extensions by your self ?

@someguythe2 Yes. I can construct a page which, when you visit it, would be able to send commands to your phone. Commands I write, and with that I can essentially do whatever I want on your phone. Therefore, some changes were made to how those requests are handled. Because of this, the Opera thingy broke down and as it's highly insecure, it hasn;t been fixed yet. Althou I'm looking for a way to fix it, seems hard. Google is good at this, hehe.

@someguythe2 Nowhere, it's broken and discontinued because besides push functionaility, it provided functionaility for hackers to take over your phone using XXS, a hacking technique..
