This video shows the first stage of the production of a cast gold crown for a damaged tooth. The crown is made on the model (See Videos 2 and 3) using wax, which will be replaced by molten gold in the lost wax casting process. The technique of making the wax template and adjusting it to fit the model accurately is shown.   • I would like to know if I could have your premission to use this video in a classroom setting with dental hygienists.

  • Not familiar with the system you are using (only used pin system so far). :) Solid work in any case. You only forgot to mention usage of isolating fluid on antagonists, so wax doesn't stick; which can happen sometimes when you are learning! Cheers!
