which in turn sampled Kraftwerk - The Man Machine from 1978.

Im a massive Krafwerk fan but although I was born in London, I left in 1980 to live in NYC and the musical influences went much further than Krafwerk. James Brown, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Malcolm McLaren (who was the manager for the Sex Pistols) etc. The influence of Hip Hop is broader than most realise, and in no small part, is very much why it survives in its many hybrid forms today. But there was a whole synthpop movement that had an impact. Just ask Afrika Bambatta (I know, Kraftwerk)

one of the more overlooked hip hop groups of the 1980's, always thought they should have been in the same league as Grandmaster Flash, Sugarhill Gang, Afrika Bambaataa, Whodini and Kurtis Blow, do you by any chance have their song "Just Rock" available?
