First of all, I don't think the man gained any weight. Of course, he's not as trim as his earlier days.....he's freaking 34. Another thing, if younger players like Lebron and Wade can get away without dunking, why does the older VC get criticized for doing lay ups, instead of thunderous dunks. Is it better he goes for dunks every time, gets injured, can't help the team, and gets labeled as injury prone? I'd prefer he makes the routine layup and remain on the floor to help the team.
