kudos to you for making one of the only non-gxscc'd 8-bit remixes of this song on youtube.
I just made one myself in famitracker so you're not alone anymore :D

Fail, you copied that really crappy MIDI from VG Music. The kind of background harmony is completely wrong >_>

Sorry if my ear wasn't capable of hearing the harmony right and had to make it like the MIDI.
If you feel capable of doing something better, go ahead. I'd like to see your version :)

I don't even know how to start XD. But it is quite annoying (not aiming at you), when there's say a fan game, with MIDIs from VGMusic, and of a particular tune there's loads of versions, and people tend to pick the one that's really crappy, not in tune, and stuff <_<

Yeah, I know what you feel. I shouldn't use that one as a ref, then.
When making a song, I usually tend to get simple midis for references, since I'm no musician. When I can't make the notes out, I end up making my own section of the harmony, making it kind of a remix.
I'm sorry I replied kinda bluntly to you: I said that not in a 'at least I can do better than you' way, but rather as 'I'd like to see your version so I could learn how to make my songs better' : /

How does Famitracker work? Does it convert a song into 8-bit like that? Or do you have to do it manually?

I need to do it manually.
