  • Hi there. Although I don't play the cello, on the violin, gravity is part of what produced the friction on the string. The more relaxed th joints are, then the more relaxed your sound will be and you're less likely to suffer injuries.

  • Question: I played the cello for a year and I always have trouble keeping my thumb bent, they would end up bruised and swollen after playing because i just couldn`t keep it bent. I was wondering, is there less strain on your thumb when playing the violin?

  • I've played violin for 2 years and I used this tip.. For the past two years I've been watching this video so many times trying to figure out how to hold it because I simply always strain my wrist from holding it in this position
