  • Well, whether or not the chainsaw itself would have hurt him. There is still a big jagged piece of wood he about hit his face on.

  • Okay, so i may not be a professional!! But i worked for about a year cutting hauling splitting and stacking timber products about 15 kms in the middle of the woods on a 6 day basis, to all who think that a non moving chain is harmless your wrong, there sharp barbed hooks designed to cut down trees! Think people! and secondly, Imagen your average 185 pound man falling face first on a hot (or warm) steak knife(or a chainsaw blade!) from a standing position, tell me if that wont ruin your day!

  • Rengdengdengdengdeng

  • @lothre You're such a dumb ass.

  • Seriously?! Does anyone even know how a chainsaw works?! Unless he has the thing wide open throttle (which clearly this saw isn't) the chain blades are not moving. And it was probably almost a foot away from his face. I have been in greater danger of bodily harm shaving my beard every morning with a bic..../yawn

  • I was also told, A day with all the limbs is a good day of cutting.

  • @martinscluff It could have also kickback on him too, very dangerous.

  • @Nothinbutdrums1 Do you even know how sharp those chains are?! Go out and do some wood hauling and see what happens when you accidentally slip on the chainsaw when it's hot. This guy is lucky the chainsaw didn't kickback on him, even more dangerous because he only had one hand on it. I'm not calling you a dumbass or anything, just letting you know.

  • The chain wasn't moving. If it was moving it wouldn't have caught on the piece of remaining wood. It was that it was caught on that piece that it pulled him. Had he kept that chain moving it wouldn't have pulled him over. Not safe anyway. You have to watch the very beginning very carefully to see the little flange of wood that broke off and caught his saw.

  • omg that was a very close call
