The infamous, offensive ad from Motrin, just in case they pull it from their site! Glow Marketing, marketing to Moms in a meaningful way.

  • I work in advertising. In my 13 years of professional experience I can assure you that Moms are the worst audience to try to talk to. They have NO SENSE OF HUMOR. And it absolutely pains me to say so, because I am a woman myself. Please moms, lighten up.

  • The woman doing the voice-over sounds like some moronic teenager. "Like, I totally don't want, like, pain from having to, like BOND. OMG! Talk about annoying! "

  • Its offensive because correct, ergonomic babywearing doesn't hurt. Crotch-dangling garbage like Baby Bjorn and Snugli carriers are uncomfortable for both baby and wearer. The carrier works against your body. If you wear your baby in a safe, healthy baby carrier, and use it correctly, it does not hurt. Coming from a mom that wears my 3'1 child on my back daily. It never hurts.

  • I had to watch this for my class, after seeing the over-reaction video.... PLEASE~ Intellegent women know it's the truth, carrying children put a physical strain on your body. They weren't offensive, it was a fact, if you can't handle that... that's your problem.

  • Stop wearing your children like the latest Gucci handbag people. Next thing you know, new moms are going to be bedazzleing their kids foreheads. For crying out loud, feed a starving child instead of worrying about this shit.

  • This ad was a big fail on the part of their marketing department. Although I'm sure it did appeal greatly to the "poor me, what about me" generation...

  • how is this offending? i dont c how its offending at all

  • I wasn't offended by this and I have worn my baby a few times. It does hurt my back after a while, makes it sore I mean. I think people are easily offended.

  • My best friend wore her baby and she thought this was kinda cute and funny. She said that she doesn't necessarily think it's a fad, but she completely understood what they were doing towards the middle to the end by basically saying "Yes it's painful and might stress you out like most things in the first couple years can, but the pain is worth it for your baby. And if other moms see your face and it looks in crazed agony, they'll understand." I think we as Americans are too sensitive.

  • @laradenny ummm fuck u " you westerns " um wtf why are u judging us from were we come from , and not the social group who are actually complaining. I make a big deal sbout everything now do i? , we only make a big deal about people who piss me off. Just get the fuck off the internet u jugdemental shit.

  • i believe the people who made this commercial were going out of their way to cater to the mommy martyrdom that permeates our society and they ended up offending them. had they not mentioned how difficult wearing a baby is, the moms wouldn't have been happy either and would probably speak up. "hey, try wearing a baby!"
