This is the ground reaction force generated when forefoot strike running in racing flats. Notice that this force trace lacks the impact transient characteristic of heel strikes (a nearly instantaneous, large force experienced at impact when heel striking).

  • so basically when it doesn't spike up so fast the body is able to dissipate the forces across the muscles and when heel striking the force increases too rapidly so some of it gets dissipated across joints also???

  • looks good but problem is that without feedback you will forget to run correctly after a while. barefoot you dont...
