  • I also love:

"I will KILL him for you!"

    "Have you finished packing yet?"

I've forgotten how funny this movie was. :)

  • "I hate men. I hate you! I HATE ALL MEN!"

    LOL :D

  • "My name is Coffey, like the drink. Only different..." Some people might understand why I said this here.

  • I love freds coolness "why what would you have done sold tickits" he was so brilliantly sarcastic. :)

  • @cywyhot of course they did'nt this is not venice i know it...

in the italian version the name is bedinski so maybe polish or something like that

    in the est europe....

  • @vitweb So...we are dying to know...what nationality was portrayed in the Italian version? Was he American? British? Spanish? French? What was his name? :)

(I'm sure they didn't go on location for Astaire-Rogers movies. They exist in a fantasy world. The real world in the Depression was too depressing, especially considering the fact that Europe only had 20 years between world wars, and locations would just add to the cost of film making.)

  • in the italian version he is not italian in the original '30 ....maybe they don't the stereotype of italian in those year....i'm italian by the way ...and this is not venice for real

  • "When a clumsy cloud meets a fluffy little cloud", how cute and funny

  • "But I am no man. I am Berdini!"

  • "How could he had made love to me..."

I know in classic time thats a different meaning but...wink wink...

    I love Fred and Ginger.

  • Definitely my favourite Astaire movie with Flying down to Rio a close second. Really funny.

"For the woman the kiss. For the man the sword."
