Carousel of Progress Breaks Down at Disney World

One time when I was enjoying Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, we had to watch the Christmas-modern-technology scene three times in a row. By the third time, people were on their feet getting angry and yelling, and the Cast Members were on the speakers telling us we'd NEVER get out of the Carousel unless we all sat in our seats again. It was hilarious. Personally, I'd rather get stuck in the 4th of July scene or something.

The attraction got stuck, making everyone watch each scene three times. It's breaking down when Father starts talking about Christmas again and everyone starts groaning :)

I remember this Disneyland attraction and have referred to it numerous time to illistrate a not so hidden hidden agenda. I believe General Electric was the real brains behind this oh so boring romp through American consumerism mentality. I've always believed the real cure for depression was in the purchasing of a major appliance. NOT!

no way I'd be listening to that thing three times in a row! By the third time I'd also be standing up and when they told me to sit down I'd be like, "If I sit down you better get me out of this damn ride!" haha :p

@Elizabethjones... what are you talking, snow and freezing rain in Florida?? Enough to shut down the monorail, very unlikely, and it is impossible for the monorail to lean 45 degrees.
