Hey Mantic...love your series as I've found them truly helpful.
I've been shaving with a badger brush and safety razor for almost 2 months now. Everything is great except for my chin...I'm still having some difficulty in that area. Any suggestions?
I got mine on ebay for $8.00. Look for a Gillette Super Speed. There are many on ebay, and they are not expensive. It is a mild razor, and great for beginners.
For soap, there are a million, but the best cheap soap is VDH at Wal-mart. Really great for $1.50.
For blades, go to ebay and get a "sample" lot. Blades are all slightly different, so you want to try a few and find a favorite. Good Luck!
Thanks for reposting the comment.. I have a heck of a time shaving the cleft with those big disposable 5 blades.. I never get all the hairs.. usually pluck what I can't get.. and that hurts! lol
