Afghan opium poppies hit by mystery disease

Afghanistan's opium poppies have been hit by a mysterious disease, with some farmers accusing the United States and Britain of spraying their crops with chemicals.

A fungus has struck half of the country's crop, which means opium production is set to fall.

Afghanistan is the main supplier of the world's heroin, with local populations economically dependent on the drugs trade.

@ericksongeoff if they had pure dope they'd be addicted & constipated but as far as that theres no other major health problems. personally i would rather see opium dens than bars on every corner in america. FUN FACT: only 23% of heroin users are addicted compared to 11% of alcoholics, so it is more addictive, but less harmful & still manageable with treatment. there are antiaddictive drugs like ibogaine & i believe salvinorin A that help but ironically R also ilegal.

Isn't it obvious the USA And the UK were not getting there propre CUT from the Opium farmers. So they sprayed half of there crop to teach them a lesson. The other half of the crop they got a cut from. Next time Afghan opium farmers will understand not to fuck with them. Good ole Anglo-Yanks making the world a better and safer place!

Are you serious!? Heroin! Heroin is such a bad drug,I know teens who are addicted to heroin. There FUCKED they snort the heroin and they feel fine but when you run out of heroin you feel like your deathly ill. And all you want is more heroin. And its like that till you die or get serious help. Ive denied a lot of drugs and i KNOW that thats why Im not a drug addict. im just glad I only smoke weed.
