Mariwan Halabjaee: Sura IV:34

Mariwan Halabjaee is a Kurdish author living Norway. He had to flee his home country after receiving death threats from Islamists. The Islamic League of Kurdistan deemed as blasphemous his Islam critical writings, and issued a fatwa sentencing him to punishment by death. He now lives in hiding.

In his latest book "Sex, Sharia and Women in The History of Islam" (2005),
Halabjaee criticizes Islam for being profoundly and irredeemably oppressive of women.

In this video, Halabjaee exegeses the meaning of the Koranic sura IV: 4.
