Peamouth chub and northern pikeminnow are commonly caught in the Tidal Fraser River during the summer months. They are closely related so both look rather similar. This video demonstrates the small but distinct differences between the two that can be used to identify them.

  • we catch huge northern pikeminnow all year round including winter icefishing

by huge i mean like 3-10 pounds

    and thats a tubby chub

  • thats a fat chub

  • Even though they are junk fish, they are fun as hell to catch. More so than bluegill or sunfish. They're like little freshwater sharks.

  • whooooo go jackie chan

  • @fishingwithrod what bout 13 year olds

    xD

  • @TimTimONE im 15 too and ive caught a 900 gr perch !!

belve me it was a hard fight

  • nice show, big pikeminnow are very fun to catch!

  • We usually call these guy bait! Sturgeon bait that is. Between the eulachon runs in the spring and the later salmon runs these guys make good sturgeon bait. Just ripen them up for a few days to enhance there aroma.

  • Yes, I like the new music- very fishingy

  • Very well executed a clean and smooth video and audio. Easy and comfortable to watch.
