  • Like any foot with a seam guide, the Stitch in the Ditch Binding Foot has the guide to help you sew straight and consistent. The guide is longer than any other foot that I know of so that it's easy to use your hand to keep the fabric butted up next to the foot. I lift the fabric when piecing with a 1/4" seam as it seems to keep the fabric right next to the seam guide.

  • I was watching the videos because I'm interested in purchasing your products. However, I was disappointed when showing the reason for not having the fabric on the table didn't yield a straight seam -- but you used your hand to move the fabric left and right, rather than letting the machine do the work. So how do I know it really would have been crooked? As it happens, I lift the fabric for a different reason, something I learned from a sewing program on TV -- to keep the tension of the 2 layers.

  • Thank you for the videos they're very interesting, is the foot your using a Bernina foot?
