Reads like a logical explanation to me. The only option I'd see to move the same volume of cargo would be the expense of having more cargo planes in the fleet The total fuel consumed most likely wouldn't be less AFAIK

Because in wartime conditions they take off with a heavy load and a light fuel load, there by getting more cargo to where it needs to be. Like during the cold war. and B-52s. If a Galaxy can't hold enough fuel to be mission able Then ???? Can you just imagine what this Standing military costs US tax payers in fuel costs alone .. And these are the very same Men who set up NORCOM.. To get this .. Protect WE THE PEOPLE ? What PURE 100% WASTE OF TAX PAYER DOLLARS.. If the petroleum Companys want to invade for Oil I say fuck em let them pay out for it out of there Mega windfall profits Why should it be on the US Tax payers ..
