  • @alfiebonassward96 this was a long time ago

  • @mrking15 You're a good man & a good drummer. God bless.

  • @cgrychefilms Agreed!

  • @mrking15 Thanx for your reply. I have opinions too, I have opinions on the quality and content of your videos on your page. Are your videos the best you have to offer? Think about that! The point is I would never leave a negative comments on the quality of your presentation. I want you to express yourself and have fun and share your voice with the world. You and me are getting what we pay for on YouTube. It's free. Let's stop with the "THAT SUCKS" attitude and just appreciate the art!

  • @mrking15 GOING*

  • @cgrychefilms Its wasn't meant to be Negative. If I was FOING FOR BLOOD I would have said THE WHOLE ENTIRE DVD SHOOT was shitty. I didn't say that. Not once, Not ever in my comments. Keep in mind I Was ONLY POINTING OUT The DRUM MIX. Everybody else mix was GREAT. At the end of the day for all of us, we need to understand GOOD IS UNACCEPTABLE WHEN BETTER IS POSSIBLE. That's in EVERYTHING we do in life. That's goes for me too. We all have our OPINIONS. Agree to Disagree.

    Peace.

  • @cgrychefilms And just to give you an idea it cost me over $18K just for the gear to do the last DVD shoot for Remo, That does include profit, post production or authoring . . Just Gear. Money matters! If not go race a Porsche with a big wheel.

I never though you said anything negitive about Chris. I'm not trying to make you feel bad. It just people leave negitive comments not relizing there is so much more to the story of why! I wish you all the best & God bless you. - C.G. Ryche

  • @cgrychefilms The point really is this project was under budget, under staffed and paid a lot with favors. Post took over 1 1/2 years because of these factors. This is a DVD shoot, not a studio session, much more complicated than I think you realize. Listen, Chris is a close personal friend of mine and plays in my band. I direct DVD's and have worked with Dave Weckl, Gerald Hayward, Steve Smith, Aaron Spears. I know what's involved. Your opinion is valid, it's just very negative just enjoy!

  • @mrking15 Yes I agree, but I was the percussionist on this shoot, I saw the behind the scences. The right mic in the right place, of coruse. You're on the money. How much money did they have to spend on mixing is the proper statement. If I just you $25. to mix and master this you wouldn't do it. I could give you enough money to focus on the job with the right gear and the right engineer it could have a better chance of popping.

  • @cgrychefilms Ok. You're missing what Im saying. You make it seem like Im saying CHRIS COLEMAN SUCKS or Im not ENJOYING the JAM. THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM SAYING.I LOVE CHRIS COLEMAN Im saying THE DRUM MIX could have been better. Watch CHRIS COLEMAN DRUM SOLO 1 for MENIL DRUMFEST. EXCELLENT SOUND MIX coming from those Drums. Dont matter HOW MUCH MONEY was spent to PRODUCE, The right mics and the right mix is what matters. It is what it is!
